I just picked up my bike on Friday afternoon and wanted to take it out and this was route was my best option. I spent a fair bit of time stuck in traffic as I left CDMX at 2:30 pm. If you go on a weekend and you are leaving from the city, I'd go as soon as the sun comes up. Which I will do next time. The first half of the route is very pretty and the temps got down to 15 degrees at times. I went from being quite hot to needing my heated handgrips. The 2nd half, about 80km is highway, so it's a quick trip back. There were a few good straightaways, I got up to 185kph at one point, 200k is supposedly my top end. Overall a nice ride close to the city.
Recomiendo desayunar en Yecapixtla. Es clave salir temprano para evitar el tráfico de la salida por Xochimilco.
