Ive ridden this stretch a number of times, in both directions, and with large and small groups of riders. Out of the Summer season, the logging industry with its lorries and piles of tree trunks on or near the road make for an entertaining ride with mud, tree debris, oil spills and scarred road surface all there to test your observation. When you add in some bends that really need reading to the equation, especially with the erratic road surface, it can be a very rewarding stretch of road, but it will bite the unwary.
sunday morning and quiet, easy to overtake when needed, seemed to go all to quickly.. certainly worth the detour.
Love this road, done it a few times now, always getting better. Not the best for first timers, did it on my first ever ride out on my bike (400kms that day). Can be alot of cars in the holiday season, but possible to nip past.
Utterly brilliant, highly recommended
Very nice stretch near the French border.
